This is my first camera review presented by www.samys.com . I will be giving a brief review of some the Canon 5D mark 2′s features as well as my honest opinion about this camera. I will also show some examples of the video and picture taking ability and share some of the downsides of the camera as well. Enjoy

I was just curious why your video is only up to 480p resolution when you are using the 5d Mark II, doesn’t it have full HD capability? Really enjoyed your video, wish I could have watched it in a higher resolution, it was still good though. Thanks
Hey Rob..thanks for the quick reply..i deleted my post because if i just read further below..you answered my question already and i didnt want to be a repeater…lol.. I was leaning for the 5d mark II but you really enforce my decision..im going for the 5d….having video is a bonus for me too..i care more for image quality.. You are doing a great job man..keep up all the hard work bro..keep the vidz coming!!
Hey Rob..im looking into getting the 5d mark II but im hearing all these raves about the new canon 7D.. 5d mark II still the way to go?..thanks
I am a beginner to photography using the nikon d3000. Your videos are so great and have helped me tremendously using the manual settings and now after a few weeks my pics are actually starting to look okay! Can’t wait to see your next video!
A canon 70-200 f/2.8
Hey Robert, What lens is on the camera? Rob
Good review..wish i could afford it but not at the moment! Hopefully soon:)
Robert, do your thing bro Sammy is paying you to sell products. Products that you love some of us understand that. Thanks for ALL you do bro PEACE.
2:53 – Hilarious
this video was cool, it was worth waiting for it to load in high def.
I only have a 500D and it does on 30fps at 1280×720 or 20 fps full hd format, but I would really love to upgrade to the 5D or maybe 7d because of the video part is better also.
So Sammy I look forward to your 7d review also
Everything I have read about it sounds very cool. The video features such as the frame rate selection and quality parameters are crazy.
I have not used it at all but have heard nothing but good things from its users. I personally am a fan of the full frame sensor of the 5D but the 7D is more than enough camera for most all situations.
I hope this helps
What do you think about the Canon 7D?
@WindRunnerVX I disagree, I think me made a good point about that, and it depends on what your gonna use it for. And honestly, I cant see any different, other then he is getting paid now. He is still doing a dahm good job for all of us how wants to know our DSLR´s better.
I also do in all honesty love this camera, I would leave my wife and marry it if it would have me. I have only shot with the original 5D for the past 3 and a half years and felt like I was cheating on it with this 5D mark II.
Don’t hate on a camera that you don’t even know =o)
There is no autofocus but that’s awsome? how long did it take to come up with that one for them. Sorry Fontana but it’s no longer honest.
Your loss friend, I have some really good shit on the burner for next year. Maybe you will find your way back after all.
Peace
The route of it is that you now seem to be doing more about selling products for Sammy’s than doing honest, passionate videos about photography.
I do wish you could find some happy medium because I do love your origional videos.
Sorry Sammy, I once loved your videos, but since you’ve done this sponsorship thing, I really can’t take you seriously, you don’t seem to believe what your saying, it seems your just selling stuff for your sponsor. Sorry, but that’s the way I feel, this video seems to demonstrate it. I love your origional videos and have them on my drive, but I don’t think I will be watching any more. You just don’t seem genuine anymore.
thumb down? what? I love my Nikon and Canon cameras.
My guess would be when using only your back LCD screen to light a pitch black room and get the shot ; )
Only recently discovered your videos, and I think you are doing a great job with them. Especially your tutorial videos. I tell people who ask me about the fundamentals of photography to watch your videos because you explain things in a clear easy way with your own unique style thats funny and fresh. I think you could really do well doing face to face workshops. Keep up the good work. And great review. Looking forward to seeing your Nikon reviews.
Nikon reviews will come in the beginning of next year. HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
what the hell would a 25600 ISO possibly be necessary for? That just boggles my mind.
Nikon and Canon FTW xD
