Citywest is a business park and golf resort in the Saggart area, just north and northwest of Saggart village. Tallaght is the nearest town.
The business park has developed a modest residential population in recent years. The River Camac passes north of the business park, and two of its tributaries pass through it.
Several major businesses moved to the business park, notably eircom, mobile operator Meteor, and Independent News and Media, and branch offices of Xilinx, Unilever, Pfizer, SAP and Roche.
Transport: Luas Citywest (Luas A1) Extension
Luas Citywest is the extension of the Luas Red Line (Connolly - Tallaght) from Belgard to Saggart. It serves existing communities and developments underway in Fettercairn, Cheeverstown (Brookfield and Ard Mor), Citywest, Fortunestown and Saggart.
There are five new stops on Luas Line A1 at Fettercairn, Cheeverstown, Citywest Campus, Fortunestown and Saggart with a 312 space Park & Ride at Cheeverstown Stop.
The line terminates at Saggart Stop.
