Howth (aussi appelé Binn Éadair en gaélique) est une ville du Comté de Fingal en République d'Irlande, située dans la périphérie nord de Dublin. Initialement, Howth était juste un petit village de pêcheurs, mais il fait désormais partie intégrante de la banlieue de Dublin.

Howth (Irisch: Binn Éadair) ist eine Stadt im County Fingal in der Republik Irland mit 8.196 Einwohnern (Stand 2006).
Howth liegt etwa östlich von Dublin, im nördlichen Teil der Halbinsel Howth Head und ist mit dem nahen Sutton über einen Isthmus verbunden. In der Vergangenheit konnte die Halbinsel Howth durch Sturmfluten und hohen Tiden vom Festland isoliert werden. Früher ein kleines Fischerdorf bildet Howth heute eine der Endstationen des vorörtlichen Schienennetzes der DART.
Nördlich, nahe der Küste befindet sich eine kleine Insel namens Ireland's Eye. Sie ist zur Zeit ein designiertes Vogelschutzgebiet, das von Touristenbooten angesteuert wird.
Howth ist ebenfalls ein Mekka für Angler. Viele Arten von Fischen lassen sich an der felsigen Küste fangen.
Am 26. Juli 1914 wurden mit der Yacht The Asgard, die sich im Besitz von Erskine Childers befand, für die Irish Volunteers 1.500 Gewehre in der Nähe von Howth angelandet. Das Ereignis ging als Howth Gun Running in die Geschichte ein. Einer der bekannteren Einwohner ist der irische Moderator Gay Byrne.

Howth is a vibrant and beautiful fishing village situated on the scenic Howth Peninsula. 

As well as the locals Howth plays host to captivated visitors all year round. 

Howth is situated just 10 miles north of Dublin city center and 5 miles from Dublin airport.

The Howth Peninsula with its picturesque harbour and lighthouses, beaches, walks, martello towers and portal tomb possesses some of the finest scenery in Ireland with magnificent panoramas over Dublin Bay.
